A solar eclipse occurs September 12, 2015. It’s exact by degree at 11:41 p.m. PDT, 20 degrees 10 minutes Virgo.
In general, the symbolism of eclipses isn’t auspicious, though solar eclipses typically include fewer problems than lunar eclipses. Distinguishing between the two in the simplest terms, lunar eclipses relate to metaphorical death, and solar eclipses to rebirth.
Roughly three weeks before and several days after an eclipse, discernment tends to be skewed; some things appear to be okay when they aren’t, and other things seem inadequate but are actually better than they look. Temporary panic in the financial markets is a typical theme (to a greater extent during lunar eclipses).
Be extra careful with any major purchases, investments, legal contracts, and other critical matters—including relationships of all kinds and new associations–during eclipses because things aren’t exactly as they appear to be.
An aside, astrological phenomena symbolize circumstances and events, they don’t influence you or make things happen. Why, for example, does discernment tend to be skewed during eclipse periods? I can’t answer the why. My job is to point out the symbolism identified through long-term empirical research, interpret personal fate, and delineate personal timing and character.
