Question:
“I have my natal Jupiter in my 6th house (Gemini) at 29 degrees which trines my MC (0 degrees Scorpio) within a 1 degree orb. This December, the lunar eclipse that happens on the 21st will conjunct my Jupiter exactly. This, of course, means that the eclipse will trine my MC by 1 degree, which is a very nice configuration. But I am having trouble reading what this eclipse will mean for me.
“I’m confused. Can this mean I’ll lose my job? Because I would normally interpret it like that but the eclipse will trine my MC which is really good. So I am confused. Any ideas what this might mean?”
Answer:
In my opinion, solar and lunar eclipses are minor indicators, compared to the collective body of astrology and numerology factors (over 500 in my systems of analysis). Lose your job, you ask? Only if such a factor is supported by many other indicators.
It would save you a lot of time and worry to stop putting too much emphasis on single (and minor) indicators.
Although my view contrasts greatly with those who favor modern astrology methodologies, I’ve found ancient methods, along with using a collective vs. singular approach to be far more accurate.

Eclipse trine your MC may be good, but it may not be good. It depends on all the other attributes of your comprehensive charts.
In real astrology, there is no “this means that.” In other words, no individual indicator will reflect much in itself, without the symbolic support of other indicators.
Unfortunately, the Internet is one huge black hole of misinformation relating to astrology and numerology (and handwriting analysis). I recommend favoring ancient techniques (up to about 1700 AD). You’ll find that authentic astrology (and numerology) is as complex as any language to learn, yet it offers vast insight once you become proficient in this language of fate.
