Anne Frank said, “…I still believe that people are really good at heart.”
I’d like to believe that’s true, but I’ve found that people, in general, are not inherently good, and they’re not inherently evil either.
It certainly does seem like the overall innate goodness within people outweighs the overall wickedness.
Still, the difference between a gracious, noble person and someone who won’t treat you fairly is frequently just a matter of timing. In other words, sometimes you experience the worst of a person’s character, and there’s no way around it.
Unfortunately, in your everyday life, particularly in business, it’s always safer to avoid trusting everyone because you can’t always discern someone’s true intent through brief interaction (or even through years of interaction, in some cases).
Only fools trust everyone. It’s an awkward truth. The worst advice is to trust everyone believing that they will conduct themselves honorably, in all situations.
People who are completely candid and genuine can and do have what they say used against them, regularly. You either only do business with people you trust, or find a way to safeguard your livelihood, which can be very time consuming and expensive through conventional methods.
Dale Carnegie said, “When dealing with people, remember you are not dealing with creatures of logic, but with creatures of emotion, creatures bristling with prejudice, and motivated by pride and vanity.”
Incidentally, emotional balance, emotional maturity, objectivity, bias, rationalization, and vanity are personality matters readily outlined through handwriting analysis, such as in my Reliability and Confidentiality Evaluation.
Extreme situations, such as those referred to in this article, may necessitate an analysis involving the types of personality characteristics featured above: https://scottpetullo.com/2011/07/5-possible-ways-to-understand-and-outmaneuver-your-enemy/
The truth is, people are not rational creatures. They always act emotionally and rationalize their behavior by offering logical reasons that aren’t the real reasons. They act how they act, based on their level of emotional maturity, because that’s human nature. They feel like it, so they do it, and you need to avoid those people truly lacking in impulse control (also detectable through handwriting analysis) at all costs.
My valuable assessments clarify whether or not an individual poses a risk to you, reducing your risk of financial loss, wasted time, or worse.

“You may be deceived if you trust too much, but you will live in torment unless you trust enough.” Frank Crane

I have met few people of “substance” in my life, but those whom I have experienced, have been phenomenal. I will always search for balance — and justice (Libra Rising) — and be thrilled whenever I find it. Thank you, Scott, for being one of my Guides.
In Love and Light,
Kathy
