Mercury Retrograde December 19 2016 to January 8 2017

Mercury retrograde occurs about every three months. It’s an opportunity to observe the cyclical nature of life, and if you know what to watch out for, you can reduce the associated risks.

Simply by being aware of the hallmarks of this astrological phenomenon, which include communication problems, delays, and complications with new endeavors, it makes it easier to navigate your way around challenges.

It’s natural to revisit concerns from the past; they have a tendency to come back into focus at this time. It’s an opportune time to resolve old issues, yet perception of the present is distorted.

Current matters typically don’t go as smoothly as expected and awareness is a bit clouded during Mercury retrograde. Ideas you originate during that span of time aren’t what they seem, unless it’s an idea from the past you’re now revisiting.

See this page for a thorough list of Mercury retrograde features and a general timeline.

As mentioned in the linked information above, the approximate three-week period leading up to Mercury retrograde is usually more troublesome than the actual retrograde period.
