Astrology Q & A: Common Mistake That Kills Predictive Accuracy

Question:

“I wanted to ask you the significance of solar arc transits – Like are solar arc movements to natal planets strong indicator of events happening in ones life or is it usually the general transits to planets that causes the events to happen in one’s life? or do we need to have both for event to happen? and which one, according to you out of the two should get the top priority in predicting events?”

Answer:

Your search for reliable methods is commendable; it’s one every novice endures in order to formulate his or her own system of analysis.

Only by continually and objectively testing everything you learn will you organize a dependable framework of checks and balances. Shortcuts are non-existent, despite what you may read on-line. Like any skill, it demands discipline, time, and repetition.

My findings show that solar arc transits and transits, along with progressions and other modern astrology favored methods, are surface indicators. Modern astrology methods kill predictive accuracy.

Aside from mostly providing a tenuous sense of the symbolism of astrology, such indicators are only useful for shaping up an existing analysis based on more comprehensive methods. My advice is to avoid excessively focusing on modern astrology methods. I recommend your focus be between about 300 BC and 1700 AD.

Also, astrology doesn’t “compel” or make things happen. The ancients had it right—it symbolizes personal fate. That may sound “void of promise,” but that’s the way the real world is, at times. The positives and negatives are both featured in your natal patterns and it pays to consider both.
