How to Identify Hidden Limiting Beliefs

I embrace the philosophy of personal fate, yet I also believe in free will. Exercise your free will in identifying hidden, limiting beliefs to make the most of your life.

Have you ever had the sneaking suspicion that you’re working against your own desires and goals? Of course, it’s not your conscious mind that is the culprit—you wouldn’t purposely doom your success. But don’t sell your unconscious mind short.

It behooves you to understand the potent force known as the subconscious mind, and how repeating seemingly innocuous phrases such as “I’m so unlucky” can limit your success.

There’s a growing awareness that the subconscious mind guides and even overpowers your behavior.

Many people routinely take a step backward (or worse) after two steps forward, undermining their financial prosperity, for example. A person may be predestined to be moderately wealthy, but unfortunately their subconscious blocks about money force them into the lower end of the moderately wealthy category.

Consider these examples of how people sabotage themselves through hidden, limiting beliefs:

  1. A business owner with hidden resentment toward the wealthy hires a commission salesperson that isn’t motivated by money. The signs are obvious during the interview that creative expression is her main motivation and she doesn’t care about money, even though the business needs someone who is motivated by money in order to be more profitable. The business owner’s subconscious belief that the wealthy are loathsome dictates his business remains barely profitable.
  2. She’s well liked and very talented, but her excessive, hidden sense of martyrdom keeps her in an “all for you, none for me” mode, restricting her success.
  3. A man’s “With my luck when my ship comes in I’ll be at the airport” t-shirt amuses his buddies to no end because he has a history of financial misfortune. Alas, he fully believes he has bad money luck, which, in turn, creates more of the same.

Although not necessarily beliefs, hidden fears and defenses such as any of the following in excess can also trip you up: victim mentality; acquisitiveness; recklessness; lack of control; restlessness; perfectionism; confusion of interest; fear of failure; evasiveness; conflict avoidance; impulsiveness; and many more.

All of the above-mentioned personality traits in the extreme are readily identifiable through handwriting analysis and my unconventional security investigations.

To maximize your good fortune, within the framework of your personal fate, getting to know the characteristics of your subconscious mind is a good first step. Simply uncovering limiting beliefs can be life changing. Try daily mantras like “I’m so grateful I uncover hidden beliefs that are holding me back” to help yourself along the path to success.
