The world abounds with dishonest people.
It’s an inconvenient truth, but it’s in your best interest to face this unpleasant fact if you want to limit the risk in your personal and business life.
Here are five ways to detect dishonesty:
1. Earn a master’s degree in physiology. In doing so, you learn to read body language and bodily responses. You become a human lie detector. The next step is learning to manipulate those reactions. 2. Ask the subject if he or she is lying. Sometimes this works, but liars won’t tell you the truth, and there’s no shortage of talented deceivers.
3. Hire a good psychologist to interview the subject, if you’re fortunate enough to be able to arrange a face to face.
4. Pay a security investigations firm to dig into the person’s personal life, if you’re willing to spend a minimum of $2000 to $7500. This doesn’t work if the person is careful about evading exposure (but it can work if you’re willing to spend $75,000-$100,000 or more to thoroughly investigate the subject, to the point of knowing his most intimate habits).
5. Hire an unconventional security investigations professional, one that uses handwriting analysis.
