Update: Astrology and the Financial Market Panic

Despite the DJIA having its biggest gain of the year on Wednesday, the stock market suffered its worst weekly loss in over two years last week.

Correlation does not always equal causation, but this sort of volatility is a regular theme under intermittent timing afflictions, such as Mercury retrograde and eclipses, particularly when the two are combined, like at present.

On September 20th, 2014 I published this blog post about the October 4th to October 25th 2014 Mercury retrograde.

On October 1st, 2014 I published this blog post about the Lunar eclipse on October 8, 2014.

Under this sort of collective cosmic timing, you’ll see intense fears quickly arise, then blow over like a short-lived storm before things promptly stabilize, just like they did under similar circumstances in December 2011.

It’s possible to know when to expect heightened anxiety and panic in the collective awareness. If you’re privy to this intelligence, you can capitalize on the knowledge and limit your risk. For example, had you been one of the traders surrounded by fear last week, you wouldn’t have bothered selling, knowing it was a short-term panic.

Personal financial conditions are also identifiable, such as periods of extreme financial risk in your life.

We (Stephen Petullo and I) believe the U.S. financial markets are in a long-term trend upward, though mid to late 2016 through 2017 is a time to be extra cautious. We also believe the United States of America will prove its economic resiliency far into the future, much to the disappointment of America’s enemies.

You can expect more of the same under similar, future cosmic alignments, mapped in the bar charts like this I post on my blog.

Market frenzies don’t occur under every single eclipse, retrograde, or other event. Although when the afflictions are intense enough, especially under existing demanding economic and geopolitical conditions, it can be a time of extreme situations.

  1. Dear Scott,

I love being an American, and living in the U.S.A., but I believe our country is in decline. With the use of Astrology, we can use “timing” to our advantage, by knowing when to buy, sell, or trade some stock option or the other. That’s true. But the overall mess that our economy is in, might take more than the knowledge available to us through the use of the ancient arts. Unfortunately, those answers are far beyond my personal grasp.

Thank you for your insightful articles.

    Love and Light,
    Kathy
