People who reject the notion that personal fate exists and is measurable may fear giving away their power by looking to someone else to predict their future.
However, those for whom I do work understand the benefits of having a trusted expert delineate personal fate. They value my guidance and trust my findings.
Since ancient times, number mystics, seers, and astrologers such as Ptolemy, Vettius Valens, Abu Ali Al-Khayyat, and Ibn Ezra guided emperors, kings, queens, religious leaders, military generals, warlords, and other prevailing characters.
These influential individuals didn’t give away their power in consulting with the soothsayers. To the contrary, they were empowered by finding out about predestined circumstances.
It was accepted, and still is by many today, that much in life is fated and that it’s calculable. Celebrated oracles established very high accuracy rates, thus became trusted advisors.

Today, as in ancient times, your fate is measurable, though I recommend the following:
1. Accept that there’s nothing you can do about some things in life that you can’t change and it’s all right to seek guidance in identifying personal timing, compatibility, and personality analysis. Find someone you can trust.
2. Maintain your backbone. If a seer tells you something you don’t like about your future or current circumstances, be confident that it doesn’t take away your free will and personal power, it only expands your perspective. Being naturally anxious is a separate issue–if you worry a lot and, or regularly, inadvertently sabotage yourself, counseling may help.
3. Stay detached. If you’re centered and detached, you may already have a good inclination of your future circumstances. No matter what a trusted consultant tells you of your future, if you’re realistic and don’t have your head in the clouds, it serves as useful guidance and verification.
Would you rather have the negative circumstances in your life creep up on you and surprise you, or would you like to be prepared in advance?
Would you rather remain in the dark or would you like to know that a potential business partner would be disastrous for your livelihood?
If the idea of predestination frightens you, take comfort in the notion that you have free will to react in a positive way and the key rewards in your life are also destined. Furthermore, you can get what you want at least some of the time, as long as that desire doesn’t conflict with the limitations of your unique personal fate.
You won’t give away your power in consulting with someone who outlines personal fate and delineates character and compatibility as long as you maintain your backbone, stay detached, and stop worrying about what you can’t change in life.

Dear Scott,
Neptune in Libra, Rx, in my First House, hasn’t helped matters. However, the rose-colored glasses are off, and have been for quite some time. My very disturbed husband, doesn’t really “fool” me anymore. I have come to expect lies, from a pathological liar, and in this respect, I’m seldom disappointed. Although sorry for the waste of time (42 years) and effort, I feel compassion for him. I can get help — he, on the other hand — doesn’t need any… Anything having to do with psychiatry, psychology, or astrology is a bunch of bunk; to his way of thinking. I have been a student of both psychology and astrology, for nearly forty years, and tend to disagree.

Your approach is very down to earth and I totally resonate with it! I’ve always felt that the “spiritual industry” makes use of big words that influence the naive, to take their money.. And I’ve always seen little or no results in these people’s lives, just because of the limitations of their destiny and of what they “signed up” to do here. And so, they get disappointed, get depressed, and put their money into a new service that promises more than the others. And it’s a never-ending circle..
