New Moon in Pisces 2-28-2014

New Moon exact by degree 2-28-2014 at 11:59 p.m. PST, 10 degrees 39 minutes Pisces.

The Moon enters the sign of Pisces 2-28-2014 at 6:52 a.m. PST. It remains in the sign of Pisces (New Moon by sign, a broader, less exact range) until it enters the sign of Aries 3-2-2014 at 7:39 a.m PST after a Moon Void of Course lasting 4 hours and 35 minutes.

Jupiter rules the sign of Pisces (in ancient astrology). During this New Moon the Moon is in a tight trine with Jupiter; Jupiter receives the sign energy in which it is exalated, further enriching Jupiter’s health. He’s currently glorified in the sign of Cancer (exalted). In a modern astrology sense, Neptune is also enriched through a conjunction with the Moon.

It’s an all-around pleasant occasion with heavy spiritual undertones, commencing the 2017/10/1 Universal Month in the 2014/7 Universal Year. It’s a magnificent sunrise, temporarily outshining the worsening darkness involving Mars and Saturn.

More information about the phases of the Moon and Moon Voids of Course can be found in this blog post.

Single universal celestial events like the New Moon hold only minor importance relative to collections of factors and how they relate to your personal comprehensive charts.

However, the New Moon period is an auspicious time for new beginnings, and this particular New Moon includes more favorable symbolic energy than average.

  1. Dear Scott,

With the weight of Mars and Saturn RX, some positive energy feels like a breathe of fresh air!

    In Light,
