Strong Analytical Ability: How to Identify it Before Hiring

Monday, November 21st, 2011

An aptitude for considering all facets of an issue and extracting essential information is crucial for successful workplace problem solving.

Strong analytical ability, persistence, consistency, determination, and other skills are characteristics of the exceptional employee that helps to streamline complex work processes and safeguard your company’s survival and profitability.

Hiring an employee who seems to have strong analytical ability and then later finding out that they don’t can be costly.

How do you find out if someone really has the type of effective analytical ability that can help strengthen your company’s competitiveness?

You could ask a potential hire to discuss how they’ve successfully problem-solved on the job, and how they rate their analytical ability. Personality profiling tests can also help.

Additionally, it’s recommended to evaluate your potential employees with a more objective form of character assessment before you make a job offer.

Handwriting analysis is one of the most non-discriminatory, objective, and accurate forms of personality analysis.

It’s important to note that while under pressure and stress, the true personality appears. The authentic personality, the subconscious self, is effectively examined through handwriting analysis.

Analytical ability can be thoroughly and accurately determined through handwriting analysis, helping you to reduce your exposure to risk.

Libra and Capricorn – Personality Similarities and Differences

Tuesday, November 15th, 2011

The title of this article is likely to be misinterpreted due to the fact that Sun sign astrology is regularly mistaken for authentic astrology.

Sun sign astrology, an unfortunate development of modern astrology, is just what it sounds like: being born while the Sun is in (i.e., transiting) the sign of Libra, for example (approximately 9-21 to 10-21 each year), makes you “a Libra.” Being born while the Sun is in the sign of Capricorn, for example (approximately 12-21 to 1-21 each year), makes you “a Capricorn.”

Regrettably, Sun sign astrology is very limiting and will tell you virtually nothing about the actual personality or compatibility. Authentic astrology includes hundreds of factors besides the Sun sign.

The signs of Libra and Capricorn are similar in that they are both cardinal signs (vs. mutable or fixed). Venus and Saturn rule Libra, and Saturn and Mars rule Capricorn. However, Libra is an air sign and Capricorn is an earth sign. Also, the signs of Libra and Capricorn square each other, a Ptolemaic hard aspect. In other words, the signs of Libra and Capricorn naturally include challenge and tension; they aren’t inherently harmonious.

You didn’t really expect me to say that every person with a Libra Sun sign (about 8.33% of the population) is very socially inclined, takes a balanced approach toward interpersonal relationships, and is annoyingly evasive, did you?

Likewise, you didn’t really expect me to say that every person with a Capricorn Sun sign (about 8.33% of the population) is very pragmatic, calculating, and cold-hearted, did you?

Nor did you expect me to say that every person with a Libra Sun sign will have the same exact level of compatibility with every person with a Capricorn Sun sign, did you?

Select ten random people who have a Libra Sun sign and match them with ten random people who have a Capricorn Sun sign and it’s entirely possible that none of them will get along with each other. It’s also entirely possible that all of them will get along. Again, Sun signs by themselves are almost meaningless; it’s a trivial departure from true astrology.

Emphasizing Sun signs, Moon signs, Ascendants (Rising sign), or any other individual attribute without considering the rest of the charts’ contents and patterns within those charts, will only give you surface insight.

Instead, a comprehensive approach with astrology yields infinitely higher accuracy rates, giving you an edge in life and helping to reduce your risk.

Warning: Eclipse and Mercury Retrograde November 2011

Monday, November 7th, 2011

Overview:
Most of November 2011 through mid December 2011 includes stronger than average challenging universal energy as symbolized, in part, by the afflictions outlined in this article. Generally, those people who have a greater than average amount of mutable energy (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces) in their natal comprehensive charts, especially in close aspect to the events listed below, are advised to pay closer attention.

Eclipses, retrogrades, and other universal factors are minor compared to your comprehensive personal configurations (natal and timing), yet I believe it’s wise to be mindful of such happenings, particularly how they transpire in conjunction with your unique charts.

Besides perceiving the cyclical nature of life, tracking select universal factors can help you avoid difficulties.

Within 24 hours of each other, Mercury turns retrograde and a solar eclipse occurs, on 11-23-2011 and 11-24-2011, respectively. There is also a lunar eclipse on 12-10-2011.

While such universal events don’t have the same exact meaning and emblematic impact for everyone, there exist some common conditions to be aware of.

These two blog posts address the phenomenon of Mercury retrograde:

http://scottpetullo.com/blog/2011/04/mercury-retrograde-follow-up-3-more-details-to-consider/

Mercury retrograde November 2011-December 2011 details:
1. Mercury retrograde 11-23-2011 11:19 p.m. PST 20 degrees 7 minutes Sagittarius.
2. Mercury goes direct 12-13-2011 5:42 p.m. PST 3 degrees 51 minutes Sagittarius.
3. The pre-retrograde period (outlined in the first Mercury retrograde blog post linked above, lasting 17-28 days before Mercury goes retrograde) started approximately early November 2011. Overall, I’ve found this pre-period to be more challenging than the actual retrograde period.
4. The first half of Mercury retrograde (i.e., “collapse phase,” as I phrase it in the blog post linked above) runs from about 11-23-2011 to 12-4-2011.
5. The second 10-11 days of Mercury retrograde runs from about 12-4-2011 to 12-13-2011.

Basic things to keep in mind about Mercury retrograde:
As the planet Mercury represents communication, acuity, business transactions, travel, and more, related delays and miscommunications are hallmarks of Mercury retrograde. Reviewing your past, collapse of formerly valued concepts and ideals, finding new solutions to old dilemmas, and scheduling problems are also common.

These two blog posts address the phenomenon of solar and lunar eclipses:

http://scottpetullo.com/blog/2010/12/full-moonlunar-eclipse-12212010-7-insights/

Solar and lunar eclipses November 2011–December 2011 details:
1. Solar eclipse and New Moon 11-24-2011 10:09 p.m. PST 2 degrees 36 minutes Sagittarius.
2. Lunar eclipse and Full Moon 12-10-2011 6:36 a.m. PST 18 degrees 10 minutes Gemini.

Three things to keep in mind about eclipses:
1. The two weeks (possibly longer) leading up to an eclipse, and especially the few days before and after typically include an inexplicably magnified intensity—watch out for emotional outbursts, unusually irrational behavior, and scattered focus, particularly during lunar eclipses.
2. Perception is hazy. Be extra careful with any legal contracts or high-risk ventures.
3. Be prepared for the unexpected.

Additional information about retrogrades, eclipses and other minor universal astrology factors here: http://scottpetullo.com/blog/2010/01/the-cyclical-nature-of-life-reflected-by-various-minor-astrology-factors/

Note that any such universal cycle by itself isn’t exceedingly potent and its energy must be corroborated to have a real representative impact. Any single retrograde or eclipse may symbolize (along with corroborating factors) major life events for one person, and for the next it may have no bearing at all.

The best way to consider a retrograde planet, eclipse, or any other factor is to perceive it as a single sign, then look for patterns of supporting indicators in your personal comprehensive charts.

The more conscious you are of the combined symbolic energy of the patterns in your distinctive in-depth charts, the greater ability you have to make the most of the positive developments in your life and reduce your exposure to risk.

Handwriting Analysis and Motivations: What Really Motivates You?

Tuesday, November 1st, 2011

“What motivates you?” is a typical job interview question. While there may not be a wrong answer to this, you can be sure that the interviewer has an idea of what they want to hear.

For example, a successful commission salesperson is very likely to be motivated by money, not altruism.

One of the most pressing workplace dilemmas is effectively matching job demands to true motivations and skills.

An interviewer may be convinced that leadership predominantly motivates an applicant, only to find out a year later that the person’s true motivation is social involvement. Sharing one’s enthusiasm for what they liked best about prior career accomplishments can be misleading.

Although a job applicant may not tell you about their true motivations, it may not be their fault. Self-assessment is notoriously inaccurate simply because most people just don’t thoroughly know themselves. Subconscious motivations often differ greatly from consciously perceived ones.

How to accurately assess true motivations:
Handwriting analysis is one of the most objective methods to assess personality and true motivations. Whether it’s financial rewards, personal accomplishments, healthy competition, creativity, or other motivations, handwriting analysis accurately determines true motivations.

Reduce your risk and save an enormous amount of time and money by identifying true motivations through handwriting analysis.
